About the Role

As a Trading Intern, you will work closely with our teams to learn about different trading strategies, ranging from Market Making in Oil Products to Fundamental Discretionary approaches in European Gas & Power. You will rotate on at least two desks to explore trading styles that best fit your skill set. The role involves building and maintaining applications that assist trading activities, such as creating new Analytics Dashboards or developing and back-testing novel ideas for presentation. You will be mentored by senior and junior traders with constant exposure to senior leadership, fostering a culture of cross-desk cooperation. Strong intern candidates may be considered for full-time roles upon graduation.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Expected to graduate by Summer 2027 or Summer 2028
Strong interest in trading and model development
High level of proficiency with Python and Excel
Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
