About the Role
WSTM/WSTQ/WTVH is seeking a creative part-time Videographer/Editor to bring compelling stories to life through compelling visuals and editing. This role involves covering general, in-depth features, and investigative assignments, shooting in full HD, and editing on desktops and laptops.
Responsibilities
- Cover day to day general, in-depth features and investigative assignments.
- Shoot full high definition (HD) on media cards.
- Edit on desktops and laptops.
- Edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots and natural sound packages.
Requirements
- Strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems.
- Excellent people skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Great attitude.
- Passion for storytelling is essential.
- Team-player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines.
- Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and be able to operate ENG news vehicles.
- Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis.
