About the Role
Lead a team to drive sales and maximize profit goals by ensuring exceptional customer experiences, store operations, training, employee management, visual merchandising, and asset protection. Assume full managerial duties in the Store Manager's absence.
Responsibilities
- Coach and motivate the team to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through product knowledge and excellent sales service.
- Deliver on sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations.
- Act as a liaison between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
- Learn and share expertise on products and trends to meet customer needs.
- Maintain awareness of product knowledge and current/upcoming product trends.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing sales setting.
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
- Motivated by interacting with customers and athletic products.
- Resourceful and versatile in responding to changing demands in a rapidly changing retail environment.
- Initiates task completion without direct supervision.
- Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis.
- High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
