About the Role
Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Back of House Manager to lead back-of-house operations at London Stadium. This role involves implementing systems to support hospitality and culinary teams, managing stadium assets, budgets, stock levels, and forecasting spend.
Responsibilities
- Lead back-of-house team members to ensure safe working practices and cleanliness pre, during, and post events.
- Conduct daily and weekly inspections.
- Support recruitment and training of team members.
- Liaise with the people team to work within budgets to book porters.
- Manage the equipment budget, sourcing materials, and tracking stock.
- Attend trade shows to build strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure operations comply with health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards.
- Maintain Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a high-volume, logistically challenging environment.
- Experience managing, guiding, and leading large teams within a high-volume, fast-paced catering or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of manual handling.
- Ability to travel to other operational locations when required.
