Responsibilities
- Underwrite new and existing business in Mid-Market D&O at locations in Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, or Kornwestheim, making informed underwriting decisions.
- Collaborate closely with sales to manage existing broker, Zurich agency, and customer relationships, actively build new contacts, conduct presentations, and manage assigned regions in Financial Lines.
- Develop and negotiate insurance solutions for portfolios using your expertise and actively participate in product development.
- Engage in various projects and system developments, maintaining relevant databases for contract management.
- Build specialized knowledge through continuous training and share expertise with team members.
Requirements
- Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, analytical thinking, high customer orientation, and teamwork.
- Strong customer affinity and service orientation, with enjoyment in strategically building customer and broker relationships.
- Several years of D&O experience in an insurance or brokerage company, with knowledge of corporate and financial analysis and the national insurance market.
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken) and good English language skills.
- Degree in Law or Business Administration, or a successfully completed apprenticeship in the insurance industry.
