About the Role
We are looking for a Floor Layer (m/f/d) for our client in Berlin, starting immediately, as part of temporary employment.
Responsibilities
- Laying various types of flooring, such as parquet, laminate, vinyl, PVC, and carpet.
- Preparing and checking the subfloor.
- Leveling, filling, and priming floor surfaces.
- Cutting and professionally processing flooring materials.
- Gluing, stretching, or floating installation depending on the flooring type.
- Performing repair, touch-up, and renovation work.
- Installing skirting boards, transition profiles, and other finishing work.
- Taking measurements and calculating material requirements.
- Working according to technical drawings and installation plans.
- Quality and dimensional accuracy checks of completed work.
- Professional handling of tools, machines, and materials.
- Adherence to quality, safety, and occupational health regulations.
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a floor layer, parquet layer, or comparable qualification.
- Good knowledge in laying various types of flooring.
- Manual dexterity and technical understanding.
- Careful and precise way of working.
- Confident use of tools and machines.
- Good physical resilience and manual endurance.
- Reliability, sense of responsibility, and teamwork skills.
- Independent and structured way of working.
- Quality awareness and an eye for detail.
- Friendly and customer-oriented demeanor.
- Class B driver's license is an advantage.
- Good German language skills are an advantage.
