About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Technologist Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will keep our diagnostic imaging schedules running smoothly and ensure patients feel comfortable and cared for. Responsibilities

• Greet patients, explain procedures, and assist them safely into the scanning room.
• Prepare scanning rooms between patients, sanitizing and re-stocking supplies for the day to keep technologists running on time.
• Monitor daily schedules, manage patient hand-offs, and adjust to real-time changes.
• Provide support to the technologists and fellow co-workers as needed and follow all safety and HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 12+ months of experience in diagnostic radiology, another imaging modality, or a clinical patient care environment (preferred) but we are willing to train eager candidates looking to start a career in healthcare.
• Ability to stand, walk, and handle heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. max; frequently up to 50 lbs.).
