About the Role

Gyde is seeking a Partner Growth Director to drive growth, retention, and operational excellence across its portfolio of health insurance agency partners. This role involves owning the long-term success of acquired agencies post-close, guiding them through integration, driving platform adoption, and executing growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a top-tier operator adept at tackling complex problems, building relationships, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary post-acquisition lead for agencies in integration and early growth phases.
  • Own the relationship with, and be accountable for performance of 3-5 partner agencies.
  • Develop and execute agency-specific Partner Growth plans spanning financial, operational, and growth initiatives.
  • Lead special projects that improve Gyde’s integration and Partner Growth engine as the company scales.
  • Coordinate all workstreams (systems, compliance, finance, HR, broker enablement/recruitment, go-to-market) to deliver seamless integration.
  • Build trust with agency owners and brokers, acting as their main point of contact and internal advocate.
  • Monitor key metrics (e.g., growth, retention, productivity, margin uplift, and platform adoption) and use data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Forward Deployed Specialists and internal teams to translate field learnings into scalable playbooks.
  • Act as “Voice of the Customer” for partner agencies internally across product, engineering, operations, finance and client teams.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience at a top consulting or private equity firm driving portfolio operations.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills; experience running multi-workstream projects or post-merger integrations preferred.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills. Able to build trust and influence stakeholders from agency owners to internal execs.
  • A bias toward action; thrives when solving problems in real time.
  • High adaptability and composure in fast-changing environments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership; comfortable working in ambiguity and creating structure where none exists.
  • Experience in insurance, healthcare, or brokerage operations is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to travel ~25% required.

About the Company

  • Insurance brokers sit at the intersection of care, cost, and access — yet remain one of the most underleveraged assets in the $5T healthcare value chain. They guide millions of Americans through plan selection, coverage questions, and care navigation, yet still rely on spreadsheets, manual workflows, and outdated tools that limit their growth and impact.
  • Gyde is reimagining this. We’re building the first AI-native insurance brokerage platform—a system that learns from every client interaction to automate operations, power intelligent voice and chat experiences, and predict the right coverage and products for every individual or business.
  • Our approach combines acquisition and AI: we acquire traditional brokerages and transform them into next-generation, data-driven organizations. Through Gyde’s platform, agencies run more efficiently, serve clients more personally, and scale faster than ever before.
  • Our founding team boasts pedigrees from Oscar, Stripe, Vista Equity Partners, Bain & Company and Alpine. Lightspeed led Gyde’s $60M financing, with participation from Optum Ventures, Crystal Venture Partners, Virtue, MVP Ventures, and multiple endowment funds, among others.
