About the Role

KPMG is looking for an SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics Consultant to support clients in designing and delivering analytics solutions within SAP S/4HANA. You will work with business and technical teams to translate reporting needs into scalable, secure, and performant analytics solutions using Embedded Analytics (CDS Views, analytical queries, Fiori KPI tiles, and reporting tools). Experience with Power BI and/or SAP Datasphere is considered a strong asset to enable extended analytics and data integration scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and requirement gathering for reporting and analytics across SAP modules (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.).
  • Design and build S/4HANA Embedded Analytics solutions using CDS Views, Analytical Queries, and Fiori analytical apps.
  • Configure and validate KPI reporting (tiles, drilldowns, analytical lists) aligned to business processes and control requirements.
  • Partner with SAP functional teams to ensure analytics aligns with standard processes and clean core principles.
  • Collaborate with other functional and technical leads for pre-sales and delivery/implementation projects on integrated and end-to-end solutioning for integrations.
  • Partner with clients and project managers or integration managers to manage 3rd-party integrations as a scope item for delivery, including planning, design, development, testing, and cutover activities for this workstream.
  • Develop and enhance CDS data models, define semantic layers and calculation logic, and support performance tuning in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Support data validation, reconciliation, and testing (unit, SIT, UAT) for analytics deliverables.
  • Create clear documentation, and provide demos, knowledge transfer, and end-user training.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on 5+ years experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of CDS Views (basic + analytical), Analytical Queries.
  • Working knowledge of Fiori analytical apps, KPI tiles, drilldown reporting.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (functional, technical, data, security).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical designs.
  • Ability to independently own deliverables and contribute to a larger team strategy.
