About the Role

Monte Nido River Towns is a residential treatment program for adults with eating disorders. We are seeking a part-time Residential Counselor to support clients in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and support clients through their recovery journey.
• Provide support and intervention consistent with the client’s treatment plan.
• Engage clients in developing healthy connections with peers and the team.
• Assist in food preparation and meal supervision.
• Gain exposure to therapeutic groups and develop clinical skills.
• Conduct rounds and provide observations.
• Occasionally drive clients to off-site appointments and activities.

Requirements

• At least two years of post-high school education.
• At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired.
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving history.
• Good communication and client relations skills.
• Service orientation.
• Flexibility.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
