About the Role
Monte Nido River Towns is a residential treatment program for adults with eating disorders. We are seeking a part-time Residential Counselor to support clients in their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Integrate and support clients through their recovery journey.
- Provide support and intervention consistent with the client’s treatment plan.
- Engage clients in developing healthy connections with peers and the team.
- Assist in food preparation and meal supervision.
- Gain exposure to therapeutic groups and develop clinical skills.
- Conduct rounds and provide observations.
- Occasionally drive clients to off-site appointments and activities.
Requirements
- At least two years of post-high school education.
- At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired.
- Valid state-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving history.
- Good communication and client relations skills.
- Service orientation.
- Flexibility.
