About the Role
Support business development, research, analysis, and collaboration within JPMorgan's Global Banking division. This role is key to driving strategic growth and innovation, focusing on fintech partnerships and corporate development.
Responsibilities
- Support identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic partnerships and corporate development initiatives, including investments, from diligence through execution and integration.
- Perform in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential partners.
- Conduct financial and strategic analyses, including business cases, valuation support, synergy assessment, and risk/mitigant articulation.
- Prepare presentations for senior stakeholders with a high attention to detail.
- Collaborate with and support senior leadership across product, technology, controls, and legal teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnership initiatives.
- Support the negotiation and structuring of partnership agreements and deal terms.
- Support monitoring and reporting on the performance of partnerships and investments, synthesizing insights and recommending actions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in technology, consulting, strategy, investment banking, corporate development, or a related field.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for senior audiences.
- Analytical, structured problem-solving approach; able to assess competitive landscapes, recognize patterns, and identify emerging opportunities, including within the fintech ecosystem.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to build and manage relationships across cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
