About the Role
As an inside sales consultant, you will act as an expert advisor to our customers on civil engineering topics. You will be responsible for calculating and preparing quotes for clients, and will follow up on your projects.
Responsibilities
- Act as an expert advisor to customers on civil engineering topics.
- Calculate and prepare quotes for clients, and follow up on projects.
- Handle customer complaints with care.
- Maintain customer relationships with creativity and commitment, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with field sales partners and keep sales targets in mind.
- Act as an interface between sales, purchasing, and logistics to contribute to project success.
- Participate in shaping our exhibition space and product range.
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade, or equivalent training/experience.
- Experience in inside or outside sales, preferably with knowledge of building materials.
- Open to career changers from the trades with experience and knowledge in building materials.
- Skilled communicator with customers and suppliers, presenting yourself well.
- Excellent team player with experience in a medium-sized company environment.
- Ideally possess a regional network in construction and building materials.
