About the Role

This is a fixed-term opportunity up to March 31, 2028, within the Technology branch at the Toronto International Airport (YYZ). It offers a chance for career-driven individuals to contribute to air transport security within a world leader in aviation security.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Manager/Regional Leader in coordinating and scheduling teams for project tasks including CATSA program deployment, logistics, New Technology Introduction, Service Delivery, Airport Authority, movers/riggers, electrical/data contractors, and shippers.
  • Attends deployments on-site to ensure successful delivery, installation, testing, and Go-Lives.
  • Extensive travel required throughout the Region.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with specialization in project administration, logistics, technology, engineering, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technology environment involving equipment deployments.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience scheduling, planning and project management for the deployment, delivery and installation (in a commercial or industrial environment) of heavy and complex pieces of equipment.
  • Experience planning and overseeing schedule and project tracking activities.
  • Knowledge of root cause failure analysis of equipment.
  • Knowledge of logistics management practices and principles.
  • Knowledge of project management/administrational methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • English essential.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Reliability security clearance.

  • Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities, as well as an awareness of relevant legislation impacting CATSA.
