About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for a part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract to oversee the facilities management of our national portfolio. This varied, hands-on role involves managing maintenance, cleaning, security, waste, statutory compliance, and operational budgets. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure all locations are safe, compliant, and running smoothly, while also seeking opportunities for service, efficiency, and value improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the facilities management of our national portfolio.
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance, cleaning, security, waste, and statutory compliance.
- Manage operational budgets.
- Collaborate with Senior Community Managers, landlords, managing agents, and contractors.
- Ensure every location is safe, compliant, and running smoothly.
- Manage supplier performance.
- Oversee access control and CCTV.
- Work with technology partners to maintain wider infrastructure reliability.
- Identify practical ways to improve service, efficiency, and value across the portfolio.
Requirements
- Experienced Facilities Manager with a strong operational mindset and a practical, proactive approach.
- Experience managing facilities across multiple locations, ideally within the flexible workspace, hospitality, or commercial property sector.
- Strong understanding of UK building compliance and Health & Safety requirements.
- Experience managing maintenance programmes, contractors, suppliers, and budgets.
- Organized, commercially aware, and calm under pressure.
- Confident balancing competing priorities while maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a solutions-focused environment.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
