About the Role

The Arding Rooms is seeking an Event Manager to oversee events from initial client contact through to successful execution. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage client relationships, coordinate logistics, and ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients once an event is contracted.
• Understand client needs and guide them through the event planning process.
• Coordinate event logistics including timings, floor plans, menus, AV, and staffing.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Hospitality Director, General Manager, Food & Beverage) and external partners.
• Oversee event flow on the day, welcoming clients and guests.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during events with composure.
• Manage administrative tasks such as deposits, invoicing, and supplier paperwork.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role within a private members' club or premium hospitality venue is ideal.
• Comfortable managing a range of morning, evening, and weekend events.
• Ability to maintain a reassuring composure when unexpected issues arise.
• High standards of work and a relationship-focused approach to hospitality.
• Ability to adapt and read the room to ensure guest comfort.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Sponsorship is not offered for this role.
