About the Role
Join EnergyNet, a leading producer of investment conferences in Africa’s energy sectors, and contribute to the growth of the Africa Power Sector. This phone-based sales position involves establishing and extending customer relationships, requiring a professional, commercially minded, and self-starting individual.
Responsibilities
- Selling over the phone to existing and potential new clients to meet realistic sales revenue targets.
- Creating, developing, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients through a consultative sales approach.
- Demonstrating the value of attending EnergyNet’s conferences.
- Keeping abreast of market developments, identifying, and researching new growth areas for sales.
- Maintaining key customer care objectives.
- Helping develop strategies and initiatives with your line manager to ensure the ongoing growth and development of the conferences and your role.
- Liaising with the Marketing Team and Line Manager to follow up on enquiries, upselling, database updates, new business, group sales, and reports.
- Monitoring and evaluating all competitor activity.
- Ensuring and assisting accounts personnel in the timely payment of all customer payments.

- Professional, commercially minded, authoritative, and able to demonstrate knowledge of successful sales processes.
- A self-starter who sets themselves realistic but stretching goals.
- Provides clear and accurate information on their performance.
- Demonstrates a desire to continually improve.
- Flexibility to travel internationally when required.
