About the Role
As a Lead Engineer – Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in Zurich's ongoing technology transformation, designing and delivering innovative Salesforce solutions to drive business success and delight customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, champion technical excellence, and help shape the future of digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions aligned to Zurich’s digital strategy.
- Translating complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and solutions.
- Piloting and evaluating new Salesforce features to assess their impact and value.
- Providing hands-on technical leadership, including coding, configuration, and integrations (approx. 30% hands-on).
- Mentoring and guiding team members in Salesforce best practices and technical excellence.
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lead Engineer, with a track record of leading Salesforce solution delivery in complex environments.
- Salesforce Developer certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical teams.
- Experience in financial services or insurance is highly regarded.
- Right to work in Australia (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a visa allowing unrestricted work for more than 12 months).
Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce development (Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and CI/CD concepts and tooling.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Experience Cloud.
