About the Role
As a Trainee at WE DO, you will be trained to become a Junior Project Manager within 12 months, gaining hands-on experience in agency work with real responsibility from the start.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on social communication projects, from prevention to energy transition, and bring events to life: digital, hybrid, and live.
- Independently manage sub-projects using professional project management tools.
- Develop innovative concepts for dialogue events, social media, or stakeholder communication for clients in crucial fields like democracy, infrastructure, energy transition, education, prevention, and sustainability.
- Keep projects on track by organizing meetings, coordinating approvals, and monitoring timings and deadlines.
- Coordinate external service providers, manage budgets, and work with KPIs.
- Support clients content-wise and organizationally from briefing to meeting, with precision, reliability, and foresight.
Requirements
- Completed university degree or vocational training in communication, project management, business administration, social sciences, or political science.
- Initial practical experience in an agency or comparable environment; internships count.
- Ideally, knowledge of renewable energies or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with or strong interest in collaborating with political actors, such as state and local governments, ministries, federal agencies, or political foundations.
- Structured, team-oriented work style with organizational talent and a feel for numbers.
- Very good German language skills, good English language skills, willingness to travel, and a Class B driver's license.
