About the Role

As an independent digital media company with over 150 employees in Berlin, Table Media GmbH stands for high-quality journalism ("deep journalism"), combining the quality standards of leading media with the in-depth expertise of specialized information. Our Professional Briefings analyze political, economic, and social issues, informing about current developments and trends. They are read by Competence Leaders from politics, business, and science, offering decision-makers in various industries an informational advantage and competitive edge. Responsibilities

Research relevant topics and journalistic content
Assist with editing and publishing texts in coordination with editors on our production days, Tuesday and Thursday
Support with SEO and keyword tagging
Assist with the organization and coordination of editorial processes on production days
Potentially participate in editorial conferences for planning and coordinating production processes
Potentially write own articles in coordination with the editorial team

Requirements

Studies in a relevant field (e.g., educational sciences, media, communication sciences, journalism)
Structured and reliable way of working with a good understanding of processes and workflows
Previous journalistic experience/experience in an editorial office or production company is an advantage
Precise eye for detail and the ability to quickly check content for linguistic errors
Organizational talent and the ability to maintain an overview in a dynamic environment
Teamwork and communication skills, as well as independent, careful, and reliable work methods
