About the Role
As part of our SAP Process & Technology Consulting Team, you will support national and international companies in transforming their warehouse and intralogistics landscapes. Your focus will be on designing and implementing highly automated warehouse solutions with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Material Flow System (MFS). Together with our clients, you will shape the intelligent, connected, and increasingly AI-driven intralogistics of the future.
Responsibilities
- Consulting national and international companies in the planning, control, and implementation of transformation and implementation projects in the area of SAP S/4HANA EWM with a focus on Warehouse Automation and SAP EWM-MFS.
- Analyzing existing warehouse and material flow processes and developing innovative target architectures for modern intralogistics and automation solutions.
- Designing and implementing integrated end-to-end processes between SAP EWM, SAP TM, SAP PP, SAP QM, and automated warehouse and conveying systems, including the implementation of SAP EWM-MFS solutions for direct connection of high-bay warehouses, conveying technology, shuttle systems, sorting systems, driverless transport systems (AGV/AMR), and other automation components.
- Conducting Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap workshops and providing technical support during design, realization, testing, and commissioning phases in complex automation projects.
- Developing innovative intralogistics solutions using modern technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), SAP Business AI, Predictive Analytics, Digital Twins, Warehouse Automation, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Identifying optimization and automation potential to increase efficiency, transparency, throughput, and resilience of logistics processes.
- Actively participating in the further development of our EY offering for Warehouse Automation, SAP EWM-MFS, and intelligent warehouse solutions.

- Sound experience in consulting, designing, or implementing SAP EWM (Embedded or Decentral), either with SAP EWM Material Flow System (MFS) or comparable Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
- Good knowledge of core logistics processes from goods receipt to dispatch.
- Experience in integrating SAP EWM with automated warehouse and material flow systems (conveying technology, high-bay warehouses, shuttle systems, sorting systems, AGV/AMR).
- Understanding of technical integration scenarios between SAP systems, warehouse control systems (SPS/PLC), and material flow computers.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation, implementation, or rollout projects.
- Interest in future topics such as AI, Warehouse Automation, Robotics, Digital Supply Chains, and IoT.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, high problem-solving competence, and a structured, self-reliant way of working.
