About the Role

We are looking for a curious and solutions-focused Stockbroking Business Operations Executive to join our Stockbroking Business Operations team. You’ll use your analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate trading issues, support our platforms and help keep our stockbroking operations running smoothly. If you enjoy getting to the bottom of complex problems and want to broaden your knowledge of trading systems and operations, this is an opportunity to build valuable expertise within a global fintech.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key escalation point for platform and stockbroking issues, providing second and third-line support to Client Services, Premium Client Services, and the Institutional business.
  • Investigate trade and order discrepancies.
  • Support incident and outage management.
  • Monitor trade risk.
  • Resolve complex platform issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on domestic and international share trading to ensure platform effectiveness and optimal client outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in operations or application support, ideally within stockbroking or broader financial services.
  • Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numerical capability and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
  • Comfortable investigating issues without obvious answers, analyzing data, and communicating solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues, remain calm under shifting priorities, and understand the importance of accuracy in a regulated trading environment.
