About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a casual Broadcast Designer to join the Sydney News Graphics team servicing the News and Public Affairs programs. You will be reporting to the Network Art Director & Broadcast Graphics Manager and be based in our head office in Eveleigh, Sydney. This is a casual position on a rotating roster that may include day shifts, early mornings, weekends, and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Developing high-quality motion and broadcast graphics for the News and Public Affairs programs.
- Designing and developing creative solutions that align with show visual branding and style guidelines.
- Ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
Requirements
- Results-driven with the ability to build positive relationships with graphics teams and show producers.
- Excels at managing time effectively.
- Solid understanding of design principles.
- Qualification(s) in graphic design, motion design, or related field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in motion design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- 3D Animation experience in Cinema 4D, Redshift (desirable).
- Experience preparing design artwork for print production (desirable).
