About the Role
We are seeking a recent accounting graduate with a strong interest in financial services and wealth management to build technical expertise in self-managed super funds (SMSF). This role offers hands-on client exposure and a supportive team environment focused on your growth.
Responsibilities
- Entering and allocating accounting transactions for self-managed super funds (SMSFs)
- Undertaking bank and investment reconciliations
- Interacting with clients over email and the phone
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs
- Working on rollovers, contributions, pensions and lump sums for funds
- Liaising with third parties such as the Australian Tax Office and financial institutions
- Accurate record keeping, processing and system management
- Supporting our network of financial and investment advisers
Requirements
- A relevant Bachelors’ degree (Commerce or similar) with a major in Accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A willingness to learn
- Ability to manage competing priorities
