Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and cooking of food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, focusing on attention to detail.
• Follow a food preparation checklist and establish priority items.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
• Develop strong food safety and cleaning skills to ensure assigned kitchen section is properly maintained.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives and equipment.
• Be the connector and facilitator of collective power and assist the kitchen team in operational tasks and duties.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed guest expectations.

Requirements

• Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast paced environment
• Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
