About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support the accounts payable function across Australia and New Zealand. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, supplier payments, reconciliations, and other finance administrative activities, as well as assisting with month-end processes and general finance operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Month-end processing and reconciliations are completed on a timely basis and as per corporate policy.
  • Undertake monthly stocktaking procedures as per corporate policy.
  • Process creditor invoices, ensuring invoices are matched to company purchase orders raised by departments and delivery dockets received.
  • Payment of creditors, ensuring that all supplier statements are reconciled to the AP ledger and payments are processed in a timely manner as per corporate policy.
  • Reconciliation of AP ledger to the general ledger, ensuring that the AP aged creditors balance to general ledger account after each payment process.
  • Office Supplies management.
  • Organise cheque deposits and handling petty cash.
  • Ensure intercompany charges are completed accurately and timely.
  • Participate in completing month end and financial year end tasks.
  • Undertake necessary projects as required.
  • Performs other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned or needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts payable / credit / administration with a good knowledge in matching and processing invoices for manual coding.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Must be detail-oriented and results-oriented, have an ability to work autonomously, set and achieve aggressive goals and deadlines.
  • High proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently perform all essential job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct safety threat to others or self.
