Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development to create new technologies, products, and services using a wide range of experimental methods.
- Contribute scientifically to the execution of research and development themes.
- Explore seeds for new technologies, products, and services and provide scientific recommendations for ideas.
- Contribute scientifically to research and development for new technologies, products, and services.
- Plan and conduct experiments, and scientifically interpret experimental results.
- Comply with quality systems.
- Maintain laboratory work environment and safety.
- Conduct clinical trials for the company's in-vitro diagnostic drugs with the aim of obtaining Japanese regulatory approval.
- Conduct clinical development using prototype reagents.
- Communicate with physicians and clinical laboratory technicians to advance clinical trials.
- Plan, acquire data, analyze data, and create reports (in Japanese and/or English) for inclusion in Japanese package inserts.
- Create quality assurance systems for clinical trials and clinical development.
- Respond to compliance and audit requirements.
- Understand and comply with existing clinical development quality assurance systems and laws.
- Establish, manage, and revise new clinical development procedures for new product development.
- Respond to post-launch product compliance and audits for clinical trials and clinical development.
Requirements
- Completed a Master's degree or higher in life sciences or chemistry, or equivalent.
- Experience in research in life sciences or chemistry during university.
- 5 or more years of experience in the development, sales, marketing, academic, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or in-vitro diagnostic drugs.
- Ability to proactively communicate with individuals at medical institutions, universities, and other departments (including overseas).
- No hesitation in speaking English, and ability to create documents and exchange emails in English (target: TOEIC 700 or higher).
