About the Role
Join a leading Class Actions and Commercial Litigation team and take your expertise to the next level. This role is focused on class action litigation, including shareholder, consumer, and product liability class actions, as well as other large-scale representative proceedings. You will also work on major global disputes for international clients. This opportunity offers the chance to springboard your existing technical expertise to more challenging representative proceedings work in a positive cultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage competing tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Draft court documents, affidavits, and expert evidence.
- Manage discovery in large-scale litigation.
- Participate in pro-bono work.
Requirements
- 2-4 years post admission legal experience.
- Experience in class action or complex commercial litigation is highly regarded.
- Associateships with the Federal Court or state Supreme Courts are highly regarded.
- Experience in litigation in the Federal Court or superior state courts is advantageous.
- An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills.
- A commitment to excellence and delivery of high-quality outcomes to clients.
- Strong drafting skills.
- Trial experience is a plus.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- A team player mentality, with a supportive and collaborative working style.
- A self-motivated and “can-do” attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career.
