About the Role

As a Personal Carer, you will provide care to clients in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through scheduled visits and one-on-one interaction within their homes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
  • Care in accordance with individualised Care Plans.
  • Support with community-based recreational and social activities.
  • Provide transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Requirements

  • Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
  • Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential
  • Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Salary/Compensations

  • $36.32 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement + Employee discounts
