About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Legal Secretary to join our Tort & Compensation Team within the Office of the General Counsel. In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to Unit Managers, Solicitors, and other members of the legal team, playing a key role in supporting the efficient delivery of legal services and contributing to the successful management of complex and sensitive matters.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support, including managing telephone and email enquiries, coordinating meetings, preparing correspondence, processing invoices, and maintaining effective filing and document management systems.
- Maintain accurate, current, and confidential records within the Legal Services Database and RMS Records System, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and information management requirements.
- Assist with the preparation, processing, filing, and management of legal and court documents, requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
- Successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
