About the Role
Our Coordinators are the operational glue of the entire meal delivery service, ensuring hot, nutritious food reaches elderly Manhattanites. You will manage client referrals, coordinate with caterers and drivers, and maintain accurate records, acting as the connective tissue between agency partners and delivery personnel. This role utilizes technology to ensure smooth and efficient operations, preventing any detail from falling through the cracks.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming client referrals from first contact to active delivery, including verifying details and logging information.
- Submit and adjust daily meal orders with caterers.
- Coordinate routing changes and reconcile meal counts, client contributions, and delivery records.
- Act as the liaison between delivery drivers and home care agencies.
- Maintain accurate and current digital client rosters, delivery databases, and daily route sheets.
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish
- Organized and able to bring order to chaos
- Tech-forward and comfortable learning new digital tools
- Driven and reliable
- Strong communicator comfortable navigating challenging conversations
