About the Role
Manage a growing portfolio of local and international charitable partnerships, overseeing the full partnership lifecycle from application review to impact reporting. Engage employees and stakeholders through communications, activations, and events. Requires 0-10% travel for on-site events and professional representation.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of local and international charitable partnerships (<$100k annually) across the full partnership lifecycle.
- Support the Manager and Director with large charitable partnership management.
- Lead intake and initial review of grant applications, including organizational vetting and due diligence.
- Support development of partnership structures and draft grant agreements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for active partners, managing day-to-day communication and relationship health.
- Track partner deliverables and grant milestones to ensure agreements are fulfilled.
- Support the Director of Social Impact in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new partnership opportunities.
- Maintain accurate partner records, due diligence documentation, and grant files.
- Support the production of the annual impact report, synthesizing data, stories, and content.
- Develop clear, on-brand messaging for internal and external channels.
- Create strategies and materials that strengthen engagement with giving partners.
- Plan and execute local in-person and virtual social impact activations, volunteer opportunities, and partner engagement events.
- Conduct research to identify trends, benchmarks, and opportunities that strengthen the foundation's giving strategy.
- Support the planning and execution of 2-3 domestic or international events annually.
- Research, source, and secure event venues, supporting contract negotiations.
- Coordinate comprehensive travel logistics, itineraries, and accommodation bookings.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute event agendas, production timelines, and run sheets.
- Travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%) to lead or assist with hands-on event setup, vendor coordination, and breakdown.
- Provide seamless on-site logistics management, proactively troubleshooting any day-of scheduling or operational challenges.
- Act as a professional ambassador for the brand and team during networking sessions, receptions, and social gatherings.
- Engage warmly and professionally with donors, corporate partners, and institutional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (international development, nonprofit management, business, communications) or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in charitable partnerships, grants management, corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, or related field is an asset.
- Experience conducting organizational due diligence or vetting for charitable or nonprofit partners is a strong asset.
- Experience drafting, structuring, or administering grant or partnership agreements is a strong asset.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple partner relationships and deadlines simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally to support on-site event delivery.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of maintaining high professionalism in social and high-stakes networking environments.
- Excellent writing skills with an eye for clear, on-brand, and engaging messaging.
- Strong critical thinking and research skills, with the ability to synthesize data into clear reporting and recommendations.
- Experience creating visual content - graphics, social media assets, or presentation design—is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva and social media platforms is an asset.
- Self-motivated with a genuine passion for social impact, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills.
