Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with nephrological conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care
  • Perform necessary diagnostic procedures and interpret results
  • Educate patients and families on kidney health and management
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in nephrology
  • Support quality improvement initiatives within the practice
  • Acute and chronic HD, acute and chronic PD, CRRT, and kidney transplants

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current board certification in Nephrology
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in nephrology
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in managing kidney diseases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and education
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Minnesota
  • Must be board-certified
