About the Role
As the Retail Media Specialist for David Jones Amplify, you will join Medium Rare's high-performing commercial team to drive the growth of Australia's first luxury retail media network. You will collaborate with third-party agencies and internal strategy teams to sell, create, and implement experience-led campaigns connecting non-supplier brands with premium consumers. Your role involves managing a portfolio with a strong commercial focus, delivering end-to-end solutions that drive full-funnel shopper engagement, elevate the customer experience, and maximize return on investment for advertisers.
Responsibilities
- Drive business planning and revenue growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Build and secure creative media solutions that bring a brand to life in the world of David Jones Amplify.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of retail media campaigns while identifying production efficiencies to ensure optimum delivery and client satisfaction.
- Lead the review, pricing, and optimisation of media inventory and packaging strategies.
- Implement strategies to improve the sell-through of production-heavy channels.
- Support the development of preferred supplier relationships to oversee the logistics and execution of experiential pop-up retail media campaigns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in media sales, retail marketing, shopping centre, or category/partnerships roles within luxury, retail, or media/experiential agency environments.
- Strategic and creative thinker with a passion for retail media, who gets a thrill out of building new business opportunities and piecing together a brand's attributes into an exceptional media plan.
- Strong understanding of media channel planning, inventory, and commercialisation management strategies.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organisational skills, allowing seamless management of multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, collaborating easily with stakeholders and managing client relationships with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficient in using CRM and reporting tools to manage pipelines, track campaign performance, and inform overall sales strategy.
