About the Role
Data is central to Lyft Business's products and decision-making. We are seeking a Data Analyst to develop the tools and analytics that drive revenue for the sales organization supporting Lyft's B2B portfolio. This role will serve as the analytical partner to Sales and account teams, translating findings into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Build tools and analytics for sales leaders to grow accounts, including pacing views, account-health signals, and territory/segment views.
- Manage incoming requests from Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, leadership, and external stakeholders, prioritizing and scoping work.
- Develop and maintain production data pipelines and automate recurring workflows with clear documentation and validation.
- Define and maintain core team metrics to ensure consistency across dashboards, reports, and tools.
- Contribute to internal tools and semantic layers for natural language querying of B2B data.
- Translate insights into cohesive narratives and present technical findings to senior leadership and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Degree (or related work experience) in analytics, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably supporting sales, go-to-market, or B2B organizations.
- Proficiency in SQL for writing and reviewing efficient queries on large datasets.
- Experience building production data assets such as pipelines, data models, or orchestrated tables (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
- Proficiency in a data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Hex, Mode).
- Experience with sales or account analytics (pipeline, bookings, pacing, segmentation) is a strong plus.
- Experience with Python for data analysis and automation is a strong plus.
- Commercial and builder's instincts, with a track record of turning recurring requests into durable tools or datasets.
- Proven ability to influence business decisions through analysis and an ownership mindset towards built metrics and datasets.
- Strong analytical skills to tackle ambiguous problems and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data clearly and compellingly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion.
