About the Role

Groundswell is seeking experienced Appian Consultants to lead delivery teams and serve as trusted advisors to clients. This role involves scaling the business through expert guidance on solution delivery and designing/integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions. The position also includes mentoring teams on advanced technical solutions and platform design, tackling challenging Appian programs, and implementing internal process improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies.
Guide clients on Agile, QA, and governance for multi-app platform implementations.
Support design, development, and test activities across multiple client projects.
Support large scale implementation teams consisting of multiple development pods.
Guide clients on architecture design, platform scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives.
Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles.
Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
Provide mentorship, training, and enablement of resources.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Appian solutions
5+ years of related IT experience
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
Active Lead Certification
Expert experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology
Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and written
Active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners
Analytical and strategic foresight
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
Ability to work in a high-paced environment
Ability to multi-task (prioritize and manage)
Ability to work both independently and as a team
Team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a “do whatever it takes attitude”
Experience with RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB)
Experience with Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)
US Citizenship required
Willingness to travel (0-15%) to Dallas, TX for client meetings as needed
