About the Role
Schumacher is hiring a Product Manager to join the ecommerce product team. This is a newly created role focused on improving conversion from add-to-cart through acquisition and discovery.
Responsibilities
- Own initiatives that drive incoming traffic to schumacher.com.
- Develop features that help designers evaluate and compare products to improve add-to-cart rates.
- Manage products serving internal users, including email campaign management tools and CMS.
- Enhance the designer experience on-site.
- Lead cross-brand initiatives to improve the digital experience across FS&Co group brands.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Identify friction points and opportunities within the product scope.
- Frame problems before solutions and build prioritized roadmaps based on business impact and effort.
- Make trade-off decisions and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Write clear specifications and PRDs with defined success criteria.
- Translate business or user needs into user stories for engineering and design teams.
- Drive day-to-day development with engineering and design teams.
- Manage agile ceremonies, make mid-sprint trade-off calls, and unblock issues.
- Own the quality of shipped products.
- Design and launch A/B tests, define success metrics, and analyze results.
- Track the impact of initiatives on traffic and conversion over time.
- Address maintenance and recurring pain points with the same rigor as major launches.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or a closely related function (product ops, growth, etc.).
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on an ecommerce site, ideally on projects related to traffic acquisition and conversion.
- Professional English proficiency.
- Comfortable with analytics and data tools (e.g., Contentsquare, Power BI, GA4, or equivalent) to build your own analyses.
- Experience in luxury or design is a plus.
