About the Role

As a Duty Engineer at W Sydney, you will support management in executing strategies to maintain the building, contents, and grounds, with a focus on fire life safety, security, and asset protection.

Responsibilities

• Effectively deals with urgent and non-urgent maintenance requests
• Supports the Engineering team in day-to-day operations
• Carry out all reasonable repairs as required
• Performs daily building rounds and effectively logs all follow up points
• Supports and drives improved guest experiences
• Supports external contractors and outsourced preventative maintenance programs
• Support budget control and expenses
• Effective communication of spare parts supplies and equipment control
• Drive synergies with key departments and stakeholders
• Available to support flexible rotating roster as business requires
• Supports and innovates energy, water, and waste conservation programs
• Assists in establishing and implementing energy, waste, and water conservation programs
