About the Role
Join our dynamic team as an Office Furniture Installer, where you'll play a vital role in transforming workspaces into functional, stylish environments. This energetic position involves customer service experience, installing, assembling, and adjusting a wide variety of office furniture and fixtures with precision and care. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets high standards of quality and safety, contributing to the seamless setting up of modern offices. We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive in hands-on roles and are eager to deliver exceptional results on every project. Candidate must have excellent customer communication experience in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Install office furniture and fixtures efficiently while ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Unpack, assemble, and install office furniture including desks, cubicles, cabinets, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret schematics and installation instructions to ensure accurate setup.
- Use construction estimating skills to plan efficient installation sequences and manage time effectively.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely to move large or bulky items without damage or injury.
- Ensure all installations adhere to safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to coordinate schedules and address any on-site challenges promptly.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of packaging materials responsibly.
Requirements
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency with hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers) and power tools (drills, saws).
- Experience working safely on construction sites with heavy lifting requirements.
- Excellent craftsmanship in fabrication, fixture installation, and woodworking skills.
- Valid CA driver license and clean driving history.
- Field verification experience.
