This role involves meaningful work to make travel easier, more confident, and joyful for millions. The company fosters growth and provides flexibility, benefits, and support through its five Behaviors: Traveler First, Think Big, Operate with Excellence, Ownership Mindset, and Succeed Together.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cross-functional programs, defining clear objectives, scope, timelines, and success metrics across multiple teams or workstreams.
  • Drive program governance by establishing and running routines such as status reviews, risk/issue management, dependency tracking, and decision forums to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into integrated program roadmaps, aligning priorities, resolving conflicts, and securing commitments.
  • Own end-to-end program communications, providing concise, data-driven updates, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders and leadership, and ensuring transparent visibility into progress, risks, and changes.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate program risks and cross-team dependencies, using structured problem-solving, process improvement, and change management to keep delivery on track.
  • Leverage and promote the use of data, tooling, AI-driven systems, and standardized frameworks to optimize execution, and safely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve program outcomes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience in program or project management in a technical or product-driven environment.
  • Several years of experience leading multi-team or cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery, with accountability for scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Proven experience working closely with engineering and product teams, demonstrating fluency in technical concepts, system and API dependencies, and data-driven decision making for program planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage program-level governance, including dependency management, risk/issue tracking, stakeholder alignment, and change control across services or domains.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products or internal programs to enhance execution, visibility, or decision quality.
