About the Role
Working as a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast paced retail environment. Responsibilities
- Maintains Grocery Department Standards by keeping the department clean, organized, and properly zoned.
- Rotates merchandise regularly and removes expired or damaged products to maintain freshness and quality.
- Ensures merchandise is correctly signed and priced, following established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
- Follows food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Ensures the department is fully stocked by stocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking, applying product protection, and setting and completing modulars.
- Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace.
- Is open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
