About the Role
The Server is a team member responsible for providing superior guest service in a clean and comfortable environment. They must have a genuine concern for assuring guest satisfaction and represent the theatre consistently with the Company’s mission statement and policies. If assigned duties include serving alcohol, the server must meet all legal age and training requirements.
Responsibilities
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Serve alcohol, meeting all legal age, training, permit, and license requirements.
- Adhere to all laws and legal obligations regarding alcohol service.
- Knowledge of and promotion of Regal Crown Club Program.
- Knowledge and enforcement of the MPAA rating system.
- Handle all monies and merchandise.
- Operate, prepare, and clean concession equipment.
- Properly use concession storerooms.
- Properly use cleaning materials per MSDS.
- Follow concession opening, closing, and in-between show procedures.
- Follow emergency, evacuation, and robbery procedures.
- Utilize excellent sales techniques, including up selling and suggestive selling.
- Follow counterfeit bill procedures.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws.
- Comply with dress code.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by smiling, greeting, and thanking all guests.
- Maintain accuracy of cash drawers, inventory, and coupons.
- Operate popper correctly and follow emergency procedures.
- Abide by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
- Complete progress towards cast certification program.
- Read and understand training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination.
Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve/sell alcohol according to all state and local laws.
- Complete all applicable training, obtain all required permits and licenses.
- Successfully complete a background check.
- Possess good public speaking skills.
- Listen effectively and respond clearly and directly.
- Perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.
- Identify problems, gather relevant data and note possible causes.
- Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives and reach conclusions based on evidence.
- Take action beyond what is necessarily called for.
- Perform under pressure and/or opposition.
- Possess excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers and management.
- Establish goals, budget time and set priorities.
- Frequently stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Regularly lift up to 60 pounds.
- Possess close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Experience Level
- Progress towards completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as a concessionist.
Education Level
- Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as a concessionist or progress towards completion required.
- Complete any legally required state or local training and obtain the required certificate.
- Complete the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.
