About the Role

Panera is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Manager in Training. This role offers opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement within a supportive and fun environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure extraordinary guest experiences by delighting customers with food, service, staff, and safety.
• Build engaging relationships with customers to foster loyalty.
• Help the bakery-cafe grow and succeed.
• Coach and motivate the team to exceed goals for sales, speed of service, order accuracy, and cafe health.
• Train the team on food safety standards and ensure their maintenance.
• Lead, manage, and develop associates.
• Provide ongoing training and development, including constructive feedback.
• Keep the team energized and engaged.
• Recognize and celebrate individual and team achievements.

Requirements

• Must have been working in a Panera bakery-cafe for at least 90 days.
• Ability to direct, motivate, coach, and train others in a fast-paced environment.
• Certified in all positions on either a service or production track.
• Committed to food safety and health safety.
• At least 18 years of age.
• AOP Approval.
• Must complete Certified Manager Program (CMP), including ServSafe.
• ServSafe certification (or able to pass).
• Must submit to a background check and pass requirements.
