About the Role

As a Manufacturing Excellence Consultant specializing in operational efficiency, you will analyze product development lifecycles, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies to enhance speed to market, reduce costs, and improve quality. You will provide guidance on implementing lean manufacturing principles, optimizing supply chain integration, and leveraging digital technologies. As a Manager, you will motivate, develop, and inspire others, coach team members, and manage performance to meet client expectations. You will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion, while addressing conflicts and upholding professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing product development lifecycles to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies for improvement
  • Implementing lean manufacturing principles to optimize supply chain integration and enhance operational efficiency
  • Leading teams in the execution of product development and manufacturing projects, confirming timely delivery and quality outcomes
  • Utilizing digital technologies to streamline processes and drive business performance
  • Coaching team members to leverage their strengths and develop skills outside their comfort zones
  • Conducting feasibility studies and market trend analysis to inform product strategy and positioning
  • Managing project resources effectively to align with client expectations and business objectives
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to provide guidance and support in operational strategy
  • Promoting the adoption of emerging technologies and innovative practices within manufacturing processes
  • Conducting manufacturing cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Biology/Biomedical Sciences, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Engineering, Environmental Science/Sustainability, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Project/Technology Management, Science
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Advanced skills in Manufacturing Strategy and Operations Management
  • Skills in Product Lifecycle Management and Product Strategy development
  • Ability to embrace emerging technologies to drive innovation in manufacturing processes
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive Manufacturing Cost Analysis and Feasibility Studies
  • Experience leading teams in developing and executing Go-to-Market Strategies
