About the Role
Resolution Think, LLC is seeking certified Athletic Trainers (AT) to optimize soldier readiness and performance at military bases. The AT will serve as the principal advisor on a Holistic Health and Fitness Performance Team, developing integrated education and services programs that include acute care, injury control, reconditioning, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Brigade Lead Athletic Trainer and principal advisor on basic acute care, injury control, reconditioning, and performance optimization.
- Coordinate with Brigade H2F Strength and Conditioning team, master Fitness Trainers and Brigade Command Sergeant Major to support unit development and training programs.
- Ensure education, instruction, and guidance to Soldiers and Brigade leadership is synchronized with the Brigade training calendar.
- Provide an overview brief of AT services, including introduction, reasons to seek services, and availability.
- Ensure safe and effective operation of equipment and tracking of supplies, reporting deficiencies.
- Complete Monthly Status Reports with recommendations, best practices, and lessons learned.
- Attend and participate in meetings with Brigade leadership as requested.
- Prepare and submit reports as requested.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned units at the brigade, battalion, or company level.
- Provide forward musculoskeletal (MSK) care, early medical intervention, injury prevention (IP), and performance optimization services in various settings.
- Partner with other clinical and human performance specialists to achieve H2F and brigade mission objectives.
- Contribute to soldier readiness by delivering prevention-focused care, acute injury management, and rehabilitation for MSK injuries.
- Engage in performance optimization strategies addressing the five H2F domains: Physical, Mental, Nutritional, Sleep, and Spiritual.
- Serve as a key player in improving soldier performance, ACFT pass rates, and resilience.
- Observe brigade and below specific training events.
- Communicate effectively with trainees, staff, and other ATs, both orally and in writing.
- Prepare, teach, and share educational materials to reduce injury and increase soldier performance.
- Demonstrate initiative, strong interpersonal relationship skills, and social sensitivity.
- Ensure adequate patient care documentation utilizing healthcare and government software.
- Participate in Government-based education and in-service training.
- Engage in continuing education programs to meet license or certification renewal requirements.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Athletic Training or a similar degree.
- Graduate from a CAATE-accredited college or university.
- Unrestricted state license/registration/certification to provide healthcare as an Athletic Trainer.
- Passing score from the BOC for the Athletic Trainer.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Five years of relevant Athletic Training work experience.
- Experience working with active populations (e.g., military, high school, collegiate, professional sports, performing arts, occupational health).
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing injury control and health/well-being programs for groups.
- Ability to demonstrate sound management qualities; past staff administration or management preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Current physical and immunizations.
- Ability to lift and manipulate loads or weights up to 20 kilograms/45lbs.
