About the Role
As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will shape the data-driven foundation of large digitalization and infrastructure projects. You will think about data holistically, from target data architecture to governance, integration, migration, and compliance. You will work closely with business departments, IT, adjacent architecture roles, and stakeholders to ensure data is usable, trustworthy, and future-proof.
Responsibilities
- Develop concept contributions for target data architectures and associated data models.
- Document data architectures and support the introduction of new data sources and digital solutions.
- Analyze and optimize data flows, interfaces, and system integrations.
- Drive the standardization of data structures and ensure technical data integrity.
- Develop conceptual approaches for implementing data governance policies.
- Advise on ensuring data quality, availability, usability, reusability, and integrity.
- Contribute data expertise to digitalization and migration projects.
- Support the classification, coordination, and implementation of corporate guidelines, regulatory requirements, and legal frameworks in cross-departmental contexts.
Requirements
- Experience in building and further developing data architectures in complex organizations.
- Good understanding of data governance, data models, integrations, and system landscapes.
- Ability to mediate between business requirements, technical possibilities, and regulatory frameworks.
- Structured way of thinking, conceptual strength, and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration.
- Very good German (C1) and English (C1) language skills.
