About the Role

You will be the technical representative of Alloy in the field, working closely with US robotics teams to ensure their data flows smoothly, building analyses to demonstrate value, and relaying field insights back into product development. This role blends solutions engineering and product engineering with a strong customer focus. Expect significant travel, potentially 50% or more, with periods of on-site embedding with pilot programs.

Responsibilities

Own technical success end to end, including onboarding, data ingestion, and integration.
Run pilots to conviction by defining and meeting success criteria.
Embed on-site and serve as the trusted engineer for customers.
Ship field learnings back into the platform.
Build playbooks to accelerate future deployments.

Requirements

3+ years of engineering experience with significant customer-facing time.
Proficiency in Python and data skills within a modern web stack.
Ability to lead technical discussions, conduct workshops, perform live debugging, and deliver off-script demonstrations.
Self-directed work ethic suitable for field operations.
Willingness to travel 50% or more.
Based in or near San Francisco.
Robotics or hard-tech exposure (ROS/MCAP is a plus).
Experience with LLM and agent systems.
Experience in a zero-to-one startup environment.
