About the Role
Takes complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations, user support, and branch/office IT environment. Must be prepared to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties and day-to-day operations, including evening and night hours.
- Handle on-call duties for incident response outside of scheduled shifts.
- Maintain accurate computer hardware and software inventory control.
- Update configuration information.
- Conduct regular health checks and generate reports following operational procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve workflows.
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures and system runbooks.
- Support patching, change management, and scheduled maintenance.
- Assist with disaster recovery tests and business continuity planning.
- Contribute to compliance, audit, and security tasks by generating logs and documentation.
- Collaborate with application support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.
- Communicate with Head Office in Chinese for troubleshooting and ITIL procedures.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in general banking IT operations, technical support, and/or infrastructure monitoring.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux servers and networking concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Computer Operating Systems, Windows, and Microsoft applications.
