About the Role

Dorsey Gardens Apartments has an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Property Manager to oversee our 132-unit residential apartment community. The ideal candidate should have experience in residential property management along with excellent people, managerial, supervisory, organizational, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the highest standards of performance.
• Collection of rents, expense controls, and handling resident issues.
• Coordinate vendor scheduling and communicate effectively with vendors.
• Responsible for resident retention and monthly social events.
• Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards.
• Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner.
• Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data, and trends.
• Oversee properties' personnel and evaluate performance.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings, enforce safety rules, and ensure staff follows safe work practices.
• Comply with state and federal fair housing regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in residential property management.
• Excellent people, managerial, supervisory, organizational, and computer skills.
• In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management.
• Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Well organized with excellent time management skills.

Skills

• Leads, trains, coaches, and motivates all team members.
• Experience with MRI and Nexus software is a plus.

• $56,160 per year + bonus (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)
