About the Role

Securitas Technology is seeking team-oriented individuals with vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering for an Installation Technician role. You will provide service on ST products at customer sites, handling post-installation issues and special projects.

Responsibilities

• Install intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
• Run electrical wiring in various environments, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs.
• Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations to meet customer and contractual requirements.
• Assist and interface with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager regarding scheduling and equipment delivery.
• Conduct tests to ensure newly installed systems and components are operational.
• Troubleshoot new system installations to ensure proper functioning and compliance with codes and requirements.
• Maintain a professional personal and vehicle appearance.
• Perform work assignments safely and within specified cost limits.
• Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention.
• Maintain company proprietary information and documentation according to policies.
• Stay updated on product and technology changes and complete requested training programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 24 ft.
• Ability to carry items up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to work on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency calls.
• A valid state driver's license without restrictions.

Skills

• Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems (preferred)
• NICET Certification (preferred)
• IP Video and IT experience (preferred)
