About the Role
As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations. You may also work with other companies' products in the stores you service.
Responsibilities
- Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department using a mobile device.
- Utilize technology for daily work, communication with supervisors, time reporting, feedback, and surveys.
- Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
- Manage the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Provide additional support and extended hours during peak holiday seasons (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
- Potentially work on actual holidays and weekends during peak seasons.
- Participate in department resets, including building and installing fixtures, relocating departments, and resetting card sections, with advance notice.
- Support other team members in their territories as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
- Employment is contingent upon signing the Employment Agreement, agreeing to arbitration, completing Form I-9, and passing a pre-employment background check.
- Must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is generally not provided.
